Every day we are alive takes us further along the path of death—death to self, death to the world, death to our mortal bodies. Yet the more we die to life as the world knows it, the more that full, abundant, selfless, eternal quality of life in Christ shines through us! Since, then, we believe in the life Christ died to give us, since we trust in His unseen work within, we share the glorious news of the Gospel, speak forth God's word in truth, love and courage, and testify as witnesses to all He has done! In so doing, all life's troubles become the means of God's unfathomable grace, overflowing praise and everlasting glory.
So be encouraged! Stand strong! Hold fast the faith you have professed! Our lives may feel like death, yet the truth is Christ's life is at work in you—achieving the unimaginable in the unseen. So do not focus so passionately on that which is seen, but fading away. Rather, fix your gaze and fasten your hope on that which you cannot see, but know to be true! For such things will last forever...
